Substitute Lesson Plans for Paul Fleischer   (E7)
  (These are my Emergency Plans, in case I couldn't get Lesson Plans to my desk)
*Welcome and Thank You for taking the classes. 
*The bell schedule is on the wall above the whiteboard in case the little cherubs try to sneak out early.
*Roll is to be taken on the copy of the roll sheet from the Attendance Office and I will update the online attendance when I return according to the roll you have taken. (if MY Roll Binder is on the desk, PLEASE DO NOT USE IT)
*They KNOW the rules of the class (I'm not saying they'll follow them, but they might plead ignorance-don't buy it!!) They're not to put on or take off anything from the desk and no one is allowed behind it.  They'll move around the room if working in groups but if you feel a riot might ensue, don't hesitate to revoke that privilege.
*Have a great day!!  PLEASE LEAVE A DETAILED REPORT OF HOW THE DAY WAS (GOOD/BAD) AND ANY NAMES (GOOD/BAD)!!!!!!!!!!!

(Seating chart is not used but the printout has pictures to go with faces and they are roughly in those seats - they can obviously get up to move to get help but keep track of problematic and helpful students)
1 Sheltered Earth Science
+Helpful: Itzel (Peer Tutor), Maggie (Mini Corps), Evelyn, Iraide, Osbaldo, Angela, Dulce, Carmen (Maria), Shehryaar, Azhar, Nelson, Yael?
-Be aware: Kimberly, Monserrat, Karen (maybe Jazmin)
*Ignore the following "stirkethrough" directions; we will go over it all tomorrow.
*About 20 seconds before the bell rings, please turn on the projector and the document camera. Directions on each.

*When the bell rings, say, "Today I will..." and they will read the Language Objective for the day.
*They will have 5 minutes to answer/discuss the DR. It is under the document camera. (Iraide, Evelyn or Osbaldo can help if you don't know how to get it all set up)
*You can take roll during this time.
*After 5 minutes, please say, "Exchange". They will trade papers and grade each others. Ask them to read the question aloud. Ask for answers and explanations. The answer is "The Ring of Fire is an area around the Pacific Ocean where the majority of volcanoes on Earth are located. They occur along plate boundaries where magma can escape". They will score each others' papers and trade back.
*PLEASE TURN OFF BOTH PROJECTOR AND DOCUMENT CAMERA!
*Their objective today is to prepare the Notes to be turned in and get ready for the test for Thursday/Friday.
*They can use their standard sheet, textbooks, phones (unless you feel they are not using them appropriately) and each other to prepare notes (reflections and summaries included) and discuss possible test questions.
*You can remind them that if they get a positive sub report, they will earn participation credit and Fleischer will be happy - a good thing; if they get a negative sub report, they will not be happy for at least 2 weeks. Really. Also, please remind them to get ALL of their papers out of the Out Box and Escapee Box!!!
*If anyone is done with ALL of their notes and the test prep, they can redo their low scores from previous assignments. There are MANY of them who really need to take advantage of this.
*NO ONE has an excuse for not working.
*Please make sure they clean/straighten up the room before anyone is allowed to leave.

-Be aware: Jasmine (she's not a bad person but has a challenging attitude; if she gives you any problem, have a campus supervisor pick her up)

3 General Psychology
+Helpful: Everyone
-Be aware: Not really anyone (on a good day)

*They have a standard sheet with the info on it for "Learning" and can get as much of the notes completed before we get going again on Friday.
*They can also redo low scores if time allows.
*They really have a lot to do and no one should be off task.
*This is a great class and you shouldn't have any problems.
