4/8-4/9/2024
°1 Earth Science
+Helpful: Fabian,
Daniel V, Kai, Eli M, Chris, Daniel H, Omar, Makai, Abi (maybe)
-Be aware: Not really anyone; There are usually around
15-20 absent every day and many students do next to nothing -
it's a very unique situation; occasionally, they are AMAZING but
most days, it's challenging to get them to have any sort of
interaction.
*When the bell rings, they should have their Chrome Books or
phones ready and will read the
Agenda/Content
Objectives for the Day. You may choose to have them read as
a class or you may call on individuals or volunteers. I usually
say, "Number 1: Ready, set, go" and they read together.
*They will skip the DR today and will read the article "Carbon
dioxide poisoning the oceans" together with partners/groups. The
directions are on their agenda.
*After the reading/Notes, they have the choice to do the
following:
- Work on the Carbon Cycle/Nitrogen Cycle model (hand drawn
booklet or computer program) *This will be the last day to work on
it if the sub report is not STELLAR
- Add to Notes VI (use the Standard Sheet and make sure to
have all of the information for each cycle in the Notes; add
Reflections and Summaries)
- Redo low scores (There are very few students with all
work turned in and many low scores that can be redone)
-Please remind them the permission slips must be turned in
by Wednesday or there will be an alternate assignment in another
classroom
*We are getting near the end of the semester and there is still a
chance for some to be successful even if they have done nothing...
therefore...
*NO ONE has an excuse for not working.
*Please make sure they clean/straighten up the room before
anyone is allowed to
leave.

+Helpful: Everyone!!!
-Be aware: No one; awesome class!!
*When the bell rings, they should have their Chromebooks or
phones ready and will read the Agenda/Content
Objectives for the Day. You may choose to have them
read as a class or you may call on individuals or
volunteers.
*We will skip the Journal Entry for today and they have a
choice of the following:
- Continue getting Notes on Standard XI (Personality)
and prepare for the Pink Floyd Analysis (we will finish the
movie Wednesday)
- Take Exam X online
- Finish Notes XI (including all information from the
Standard Sheet and Reflections and Summaries) and prepare to
turn them in on Wednesday.
*They
really have a lot to do and no one should be off task.
*This is a fantastic
class and you shouldn't have any problems.

B, Jenni, Joseph M, Kevin Q, Adrian, Omar V, Manuel, Adriyanna,
Francisco (Monica is the Peer Tutor)
-Be aware: Joseph B (ironically, he can be completely focused or
the biggest distraction), Victor and Ruby won't be problems but
they won't do anything; there are about 6-8 who will be absent so
no real problems in here if Joseph can keep from distracting Omar!
If Christian is having a bad day, use your judgment.
