Learning Activity

As you recall, the Content Objective for this Standard is...
"Describe the principles and applications of classical conditioning, operant conditioning, and observational learning."

For this activity, you can work with a partner or by yourself to teach the students (and Fleischer) anything you want. You will teach us three concepts, behaviors, skills, etc. using Classical Conditioning for one, Operant Conditioning for another and Observational Learning for the third.

Remember the principles of Classical Conditioning, Operant Conditioning and Observational Learning and include them in your "teaching." Feel free to check your Notes or Standard Sheet VI for all of the principles. Appropriately citing researchers (Pavlov, Thorndike, Watson, Skinner, Bandura, etc.) is always a great idea.

There are very few limits in this activity but please be creative (don't bring a dog and a bell!) and use props or extra materials if needed. You will not need to submit a written part of the activity but you can require that we write/take Notes on your presentation.

Grading criteria will be determined by Learning Activity Evaluation Sheet.
(If you do work with a partner, remember to turn in your Accountability Sheet with the Evaluation Sheet)
