You are to think of a song, lyrics, a poem, a passage from a story, etc. that elicits a strong emotion in you. You will write down the words of the piece, explain what emotion it elicits, and why it causes this particular emotion, or combination of emotions.
    Your responses will be confidential (I will be the only one to read them) though individuals will be encouraged to share their responses with the class by bringing in the tape, cd, book, poem, etc. and explaining the emotion and then letting us hear the stimulus.

In addition, summarize the theories of emotion and if possible, relate them to your situation.
